Government Oriental Higher Secondary school is an ancient academy of sanskrit pioneered and held in high esteem by the renouned scholar Punnassery Sree Neelakanda Sharma,popularly known as "GURUNATHAN" in the remarkable year 1889 on the Nothern banks of Bharathapuzha at Perumudiyoor near Pattambi in Palakkad District,Kerala. In 1997 highersecondary courses have been sanctioned to the school.Now all the wings of school U.P,H.S,H.S.S are functioning smoothly both in accademic excellence and co curricular activities.
